About Us

Our vision: We envision a world where girls and young women are educated, confident, and gracefully feminine — lifting one another, straightening each other's crowns, and leading with intellect and poise.

Our mission: Pink Crown & Scholar Enterprises, LLC creates pageants, academic competitions, and merchandise that celebrate education, literacy, poise, and feminine confidence. Through Next Up, the Spell-A-Thon, America's Favorite Young Reader, and our shop, we help students and young women prepare, compete, and shine inside a culture of sisterhood — where women fix each other's crowns with encouragement, wisdom, and grace, and every participant is reminded that she can be feminine, educated, and determined.

Our founder: Dr. Louise E. Vincent is a scholar and founder with a great love for education, a human-resources data professional, and a public-policy researcher whose work centers on literacy, graduation outcomes, and educational opportunity. She founded Pink Crown & Scholar Enterprises, LLC to build polished, celebratory experiences where students and young women are recognized for intellect, preparation, and presence. Dr. Vincent also founded Black Girls Read and Rise Foundation, Inc., a separate nonprofit organization.

Scholarship — brains are beautiful, and preparation deserves applause.
Poise — confidence can be practiced, coached, and carried into every room.
Sisterhood — we straighten crowns here.
Literacy — words open doors; strong readers become strong leaders.
Integrity — clear rules, honest pricing, no confusion between business and charity.
Joy — excellence should feel celebratory, not heavy.

Beautifully Becoming

She does not have to wait to be "whole" to wear her crown.

Crown first in the heart, support in the hand.

Beautifully Becoming is about giving a woman her crown during the healing process — not waiting until she is considered whole or perfect. Mended with gold. Crowned in the process. Our 90-Day Beautifully Becoming Journal — and the song that goes with it — were made for her season.

Beautifully Becoming is a collection of Pink Crown & Scholar Enterprises, LLC. Coming soon.
